The Israeli photographer Nissim Men makes digital artworks. His "city portraits" are created from photos he has taken, which are grouped on the computer, allowing him to mix history and the present in an artistic manner. The more you look at the digitally processed city, the more strikingly buildings, pictures and symbols can be made out. Nissim Men was born in Jaffa, IsraŽl on 15 January 1960. From 1986 to 1989, he studied photography at the Academy of Art and Design Bezalei in Jerusalem. He has been living and working in the Netherlands since 1989.
